Tricked Computers got its start in December of 2003 when it launched its original site Elie’s Tech Help. Elie’s Tech Help was coded in PHP and utilized a MySQL database powered by the popular CMS Joomla. Its sole purpose was to be used as a technical support site for senior citizens, and the casual freelance web design and coding projects.

In October of 2007 it began to grow and could no longer be identified under the sole owner of Elie Rosen and needed to be opened up to the newly acquired staff and their own projects. The plan was a website where not only the locals of White Plains, NY could seek tech support but, the masses of the internet can learn and enjoy the creativity of the Tricked Computers Staff.

In January of 2008 Tricked Computers converted from Joomla to the power of Drupal.With the new Content Management System on its feet the community of Tricked Computers could reach to an audience much further than its past of Joomla. Now Tricked Computers is not only collaborated by its staff but also its community.
